KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan continue to shatter all previous record and the bullion reached a new record high of Rs281,800 on Saturday in line with the surge in global rates.
Data shared by Sarafa association shows the price of precious metal moved up by Rs900 per tola, standing at Rs281,800, while 10 grams of gold stands at Rs241,598.

The recent hike comes after Friday’s increase, when gold prices soared by Rs3,000 to settle at Rs280,900.
Globally, bullion prices saw upward trajectory, with rates reported at $2,721 per ounce. Silver prices similarly saw an uptick, gaining Rs50 to reach Rs3,150 per tola.
