Loss of precious lives in plane crash
Chairman & Editor-in-Chief of Pakistan Observer Mr Faisal Zahid Malik on Friday visited the Embassy of Azerbaijan to express condolences over the loss of precious lives in tragic crash of an Azerbaijani airliner on Wednesday, Dec 25, near Aktau, Kazakhstan.
Of 67 passengers on board, 38 were killed in the crash of the Embraer 190 aircraft while 29 survived. In his meeting with Azerbaijan Ambassador Mr Khazar Farhadov, Faisal Malik prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls.

He also prayed for patience and strength of the bereaved families to cope with the shock and also prayed for early recovery of the injured. Pakistan Observer he said, stood in complete solidarity with Azerbaijani brothers and sisters in this hour of grief.
Pakistan considers Azerbaijan a close and sincere friend, he said adding, “in this difficult moment the entire nation shares the grief of its Azeri brothers and sisters.”
Ambassador Khazar Farhadov thanked Mr Faisal Zahid Malik for his visit and kind gesture. I am deeply moved by your show of solidarity, he said. Mr Faisal Malik also penned down his feelings of grief in the condolence book put at the embassy.
