A foreign couple, who had traveled across 10 countries by bicycle, was robbed by muggers in Sindh, it was revealed on Sunday. The victims, Kowalczyk Jakub Tomasz from Poland and Scantamburlo Marie Elisabeth from France, were targeted near the Sajawal bypass, according to police reports. The senior superintendent of police (SSP) stated that the couple was deprived of their mobile phones during the robbery. A first-information report (FIR) has been registered on behalf of the state, and investigations are underway.
The couple, who had been visiting historical sites in Sindh, was robbed in the Makli graveyard—a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its nearly half a million tombs of royals, sufi saints, and other historical figures.
