RAWALPINDI – Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, arrived at Adiala jail for hearing of Toshakhana case II on Monday.
Special Judge Central Shahrukh Khan Arjumand is due to hear the Toshakhana Case II against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi at Adiala jail today.
According to the details, the witnesses would record their statements while Imran Khan would be produced before the court.
In the Toshakhana Case II, the statements of two witnesses have been recorded so far, and the last hearing was adjourned without any proceedings due to the absence of defense lawyers.
Barrister Salman Akram Raja, the counsel for Bushra Bibi, and Prosecutor Zulfiqar Abbas Naqvi have already reached Adiala Jail.
Earlier, the court had indicted Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in Toshakhana case II.
NAB had conducted the initial investigations into the matter and later it was handed over to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) due to amendments in the NAB laws.
The FIA conducted investigation into the matter in September and submitted challan in the case.
