LAHORE – The Lahore Zoo has been given to a private company for the period of three years under a contract worth Rs500 million.
The private firms will be responsible to manage parking, entry tickets, and various services for next three years.
The Lahore Zoo’s lush gardens and historic architecture make it a cherished cultural landmark in the Punjab capital, attracting tourists and locals alike.
It is situated at prime area on the Mall, Lahore adjacent to Lawrence Garden spreading overall area of 25 acres. It was established in 1872. Previously, it remained under control the Punjab Wildlife department since 1982.
Hundreds of people visit the Lahore Zoo on daily basis. It is required to buy the ticket to get entry into the zoo, which is a vibrant sanctuary for diverse wildlife.
Lahore Zoo Latest Entry Fee from January 2025
The ticket price for adult and children has been increased to Rs300 as compared to previous Rs100 for per person.
However, there will be free entry for citizens aged above 60 years.
Additionally, Rs200 will be charged to visit snake house and Rs300 for the holo-verse.
Lahore Zoo Timings
The Lahore Zoon opens at 9 am and closes when there is sunset.
