LAHORE – The initial list of foreign cricketers for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) draft has been prepared.
The PSL 10 player draft would take place on January 11 in Gwadar.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has compiled a preliminary list of foreign cricketers, which is subject to modifications. The officials are awaiting confirmation from Australian stars David Warner, Steve Smith, and New Zealand’s Kane Williamson regarding their participation; however, their names are included in the list.
Similarly, the inclusion of Chris Woakes and Jonny Bairstow depends on the NOC from the English Board. Cricketers from all Test-playing nations except India are participating in the draft. Star players will receive the highest remuneration in the league’s history.
The preliminary list showed the Platinum category includes David Warner, Sean Abbott, Steven Smith, Mustafizur Rahman, Daryl Mitchell, Kane Williamson, Chris Woakes, Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow, Tom Curran, and Tom Kohler-Cadmore. Shakib Al Hasan, Kusal Mendis, and David Willey are in the Diamond category, while Usman Khawaja and Laurie Evans are in Gold. Mohammad Nabi and Tanveer Sangha are also in the Diamond category.
