LAHORE – The HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 players’ draft ceremony is likely to be shifted from Gwadar to Lahore, the sources close to the development said on Thursday.
The sources said that the change is highly likely due to logistical challenges.
Initially, the PCB had announced that the players’ selection ceremony for the league’s new edition would be held in Gwadar.
However, it may now take place in Lahore on January 11 due to these logistical issues.
The 10th edition of the PSL is scheduled to be held from April 7 to May 20, and preparations are underway to ensure its success.
Many foreign players have announced their joining with the PSL 10 draft.
On Wednesday, Australia’s David Warner announced his availability for PSL 2025 for the first time and has registered for the players’ draft.
New Zealand’s Tim Southee has also completed his registration for the league.
The registration process for some of the biggest names in world cricket is underway for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Additionally, Australia’s Test wicketkeeper Alex Carey is likely to feature in action during the 10th edition of the PSL.
It may be mentioned here that the PSL players’ draft will take place on January 11 while the 10th edition of the league is scheduled for April.
