KARACHI – Lollywood actress Mawra Hocane rang into the New Year with a stunning message that she received from Cristiano Ronaldo – one of the greatest footballers of all time.
The Sanam Teri Kasam star shared the heartwarming moment on social media. “Year is made,” she wrote on an Instagram story, accompanied by heart.
Later, the excitement of 32-year-old was short-lived as message turned out to be from Ronaldo’s Broadcast Channel on Instagram, a feature allowing celebrities to send updates to their followers, rather than a one-on-one interaction.
As it was not a DM, Mawra’s excitement resonated with many fans. After all, receiving a notification from one of the world’s most famous athletes is a rare occurrence, even if it’s a broadcast message. Some fans even mentioned receiving similar messages.
