The Sindh High Court’s Constitutional Bench heard a petition on the controversy surrounding the admissions for the FCPS Part II program. The case was filed against Dow University for not displaying the list of successful candidates after the oral examinations of 150 candidates who had passed the written entrance test.
According to Advocate Nizamuddin, the oral exam results were not posted publicly, while in previous years, the results were always displayed on the notice board. The petitioner’s counsel argued that, without the announcement of results, political influence may have led to the admission of preferred candidates over others.
The lawyer further pointed out that the top candidates from the written test were unaware of the outcomes of the oral exam. The counsel questioned how the admissions for FCPS Part II were granted without transparency.
The court inquired about the legal violations by Dow University and asked how the petitioner had been affected by the process. The court directed the petitioner’s lawyer to be prepared for further arguments and adjourned the hearing indefinitely.
