KARACHI – Gold rates witnessed another drop in local and international markets amida roller coaster ride, with per tola price now standing at Rs348,600 on May 30.
Data shared by Saraffa Association shows the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs700, bringing it down to Rs348,600 while the rate of 10 grams of bullion moved down by Rs599 to Rs298,868.

This decline is attributed to a drop in international gold prices, where the rate fell by $7 per ounce, reaching $3,302. Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable, with one tola of silver holding steady at Rs. 3,380.
Market analysts suggest that fluctuations in the global market and changes in currency exchange rates are influencing the local gold pricing trend.
