The Romanian embassy in collaboration with the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), inaugurated opera singing courses aimed at introducing the Pakistani audiences to Romania’s rich musical heritage and fostering cultural exchange between the two nations.
Ms. Farah Naz Akbar, Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training and the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture Division, was invited as the chief guest during the inaugural ceremony at the PNCA premises.
Ambassador of Romania, Mr Dan Stoenescu and Director General, PNCA, AyoubJamali were also present on the occasion.
The courses are being led by renowned Romanian soprano Georgiana Costea-Glugă, who brings her extensive experience and talent to nurture aspiring vocalists in Pakistan.
