RAWALPINDI – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir showered praise on Ms. Saima Saleem, a visually impaired diplomat representing Pakistan at the United Nations, ISPR said Thursday.
The meeting took place in recognition of her outstanding service and contributions to advancing Pakistan’s interests on the international stage. Ms. Saleem, despite facing the challenges of visual impairment, has become a symbol of perseverance and excellence in the field of diplomacy. During the meeting, the COAS commended her exceptional professional achievements, unwavering dedication, and commitment to promoting Pakistan’s image globally. He described her as a national inspiration and a role model for individuals with disabilities across the country.
Field Marshal Munir reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s dedication to supporting and empowering people with disabilities, ensuring their meaningful participation in national development.
