KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan saw another decline on last working day of the week, as price of gold per tola moved down by Rs1,600 to Rs349,400.
The price of 10 grams of gold also registered a decrease, falling by Rs1,371 to reach Rs299,554. This marks the second consecutive day of decline.

Gold rebounded and closed at Rs356,000 on June 26. The highest price during this period was recorded on June 19, while the lowest was on June 24. These movements suggest minor market volatility, possibly influenced by short-term supply-demand dynamics or external economic factors. Overall, the trend appears relatively stable, with no drastic price shifts.
Globally, gold prices also retreated. The international rate stood at $3,274 per ounce — including a $20 premium — showing a decline of $16.
Market analysts attribute the decline to a stronger dollar and easing geopolitical tensions, which have reduced the appeal of gold as a safe-haven asset.
