ABU DHABI – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) government has announced an increase in new petrol and diesel prices for the upcoming month of July 2025.
The hike in petroleum prices comes as global oil prices recorded significant increased earlier in June following a conflict between Iran and Israel. The prices surged further after the US launched strikes on three nuclear sites across Tehran.
The Brent prices surged above $80 a barrel after the US strikes. However, they hit reverse gear after Trump announced a ceasefire between Iran and Israel.
However, the volatility in the global oil market has made the government to increase the petroleum prices for July 2025.
New Petrol, Diesel Prices from July 1
The UAE has increase the Super 98 petrol price to Dh2.70 per litre litre as compared to Dh2.58 in June. Similarly, the price of Special 95 petrol has surged to Dh2.58 per litre, compared to Dh2.47.
Furthermore, the E-Plus 91 petrol will now cost Dh2.51 per litre as compared to Dh2.39 a litre in outgoing month of June.
Diesel will now cost Dh2.63 a litre, compared to the current price of Dh2.45 a litre.

It is recalled that the UAE government had kept the petrol and diesel price unchanged for June 2025.
The Gulf country revised the petroleum prices every month to make them align with the international oil prices.
