LAHORE – Pakistan Railways has imposed a complete ban on the use of luxury saloons for its officers.
The decision was taken at a meeting held at Pakistan Railways Headquarters in Lahore on Monday with Federal Minister Hanif Abbasi in the chair. Now, passengers can travel on these luxury saloons.
The meeting also decided to register new firms for the purchase of materials. The minister directed completing all the ongoing projects be completed by December 31, 2025. Traffic officers were directed to personally visit the railway stations to assess the situation.
