LAHORE – A man was apparently injured when a billboard collapsed on him during dust and rainstorm that swept across Lahore on Sunday.
The incident occurred in parking region of Fatah Store, Shadman amid violent weather conditions, and was captured on video and widely shared on social media, drawing shocked reactions from the public.

The billboard, displaying an advertisement for Fatah Store, was brought down by powerful gusts of wind. The falling structure struck a passerby, leaving him injured. Authorities have not yet released details about the man’s identity or condition.
The storm began with heavy dust followed by intense rainfall and strong winds, caused widespread disruption across Lahore. Trees were uprooted in several areas, and the power supply was severely affected, leaving many localities in darkness.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, monsoon rains accompanied by gusty winds are expected to continue in Lahore and other parts of Punjab on Monday night, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with intermittent breaks. Citizens are advised to stay indoors during severe weather and avoid areas with overhead structures or loose signage.
Emergency services and local authorities are on alert as further weather activity is expected over the next 48 hours.
