ISLAMABAD – Pakistani government announced big incease in petrol and diesel prices for first half of July, as price of petroleum moved go 272.98 and price of high-speed diesel changed to 266.79 for next fortnight.
A notification in this regard said Government has decided to revise the prices of petroleum products for the fortnight starting today, based on the recommendations of OGRA & the relevant Ministries.

Earlier, masses brace for fuel and gas price hikes as new rates are expected to take effect from July 1, 2025, further intensifying financial pressure on households already struggling with inflation.
Petroleum Division has confirmed the likelihood of these adjustments while Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) submit pricing summary to the Ministry of Petroleum earlier today.
In last review, the government raised petrol prices by Rs4.80 per litre and diesel by Rs7.95 per litre on June 16, 2025.
These developments are likely to trigger a fresh wave of concern among citizens and economists alike, as higher energy costs directly impact transportation, manufacturing, and daily household expenses.
