KARACHI – Pakistan on Thursday secured a place in the final of the Asian Youth Girls Netball Championship 2025 after an impressive victory over Japan in the semifinal match.
The national team delivered a dominant performance by defeating Japan with a margin of 64-39 to book their spot in the tournament’s title clash.
Pakistan will now face the winner of the match between Maldives and Chinese Taipei in the final, scheduled to be played tomorrow.
According to the new rules of the championship, the semifinals will be held on Thursday, and Pakistan, placed in Group B (Plate Cup Division), will face Japan in the semifinal.
Group A has been designated as the Gold Cup Division. A total of eleven teams are participating in the championship, divided into two groups.
Group A: Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, and India
Group B: Chinese Taipei, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Maldives, and Saudi Arabia
