KARACHI – Decomposed body of actor Humaira Asghar was found in an apartment in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) area of Karachi on Tuesday.
Karachi police said the former Tamasha contestant’s body was recovered from a flat in Ittehad Commercial, Phase VI. Authorities believe she had been deceased for nearly two weeks before the discovery.
The shocking revelations were made on order of local court to vacate residence, as cops arrived at apartment. Police officers managed to broke lock to enter and found decomposed body inside while special team collected forensic evidence from the location.
The cause of death remains unknown as body was moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for post-mortem examination and legal procedures. As per available information, body of 32-year-old was in advanced state of decomposition, making it difficult to determine the time and cause of death at this stage.
Humaira Asghar Ali gained recognition for her role in the ARY reality show Tamasha Ghar and appeared in the 2015 film Jalaibee.
