Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Rana Saleem Ahmad Khan has warned the fertilizer dealers that district administration will not tolerate exploitation of farmers, artificial shortage of fertilizer, hoarding of fertilizers and sale of fertilizers on exorbitant at all cost.
While addressing the meeting of representatives of Kisan Board and Fertilizers dealers of the district at district complex Hafizabad, on Friday, he determined that implementation on the directions and policy of the Punjab government would be ensured in the district.
He said that the Punjab government was struggling hard to increase per acre agriculture yield for ensuring food security in the province and anyone would be not allowed to sabotage the government steps being taken for enhancing per acre yield.
He directed the fertilizer dealers to ensure provision of fertilizer to farmers for meeting their needs in view of improving production of crops, in this regards, supply of urea fertilizer be expedite from fertilizers companies.
