ISLAMABAD – Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Zeeshan Saeed has been appointed as Additional Director General of the Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA).
The decision was made after the approval of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and was formalized through a notification issued by the Cabinet Division.
AVM Zeeshan Saeed takes over from AVM Taimur Iqbal, who has been relieved from his post on secondment. The appointment is effective immediately and will continue until further orders, the notification cited.
Before his new role, AVM Zeeshan Saeed served as Chief Project Director of the Phoenix project at the Air Headquarters (AHQ) in capital city. He has had a distinguished career in the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and is a recipient of two prestigious military awards Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military) and Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military), in recognition of his exemplary service.
