An anti-terrorism court on Wednesday issued permanent arrest warrants of 10 PTI leaders in Judicial Complex vandalism case.
ATC Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain issued permanent arrest warrants of 10 PTI leaders including former ministers Murad Saeed, Umer Ayub, Ali Ameen Gandapur, Shibli Faraz, Farrukh Habib, Hammad Azhar, Ali Nawaz Awan, Hassaan Niazi, Umar Sultan and Mohammad Asim. The court issued warrants after continu ous absence of the accused party leaders in the case hearing.
The ATC in its order said that the accused have been proclaimed offenders, they should be arrested wherever they are seen.
Meanwhile, the district and sessions courts Islamabad has once again issued non-bailable arrest warrant for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shahbaz Gill in the sedition case. Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra heard the case on Wednesday and directed the SHO to arrest the proclaimed offender and produce him before the court. The court ended the trial of co-accused Ammad Yousaf following the Supreme Court direction.
