The jurisdiction of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Bahawalpur includes Bahawalpur District, Bahawalnagar District and Rahim Yar Khan District.

The Bahawalpur board conducted the exams of Secondary School Certificate Part-II or class 10 earlier this year in March-April.

Students are now waiting for the results so they can pick the field of study in intermediate. Those who achieve high scores used to take admissions in medical or engineering  field while others opt for other subjects.

A number of students have started applying for the intermediate admission in different colleges. However, the final decision about the field in intermediate depends on the matric results 2024.

BISE Bahawalpur and other Punjab boards have not announced a final date for the matric results 2024. However, the matric results 2024 are expected to be declared on July 20 or later in the month.
