QUETTA – Balochistan government on Tuesday unveiled the Budget for fiscal year 2025-26, announcing major relief for government employees and retired personnel.
As per budget details, the salaries of government employees from grade 1 to 22 have been jacked up by 10percent while retired government employees will get 7pc increase in their pensions.

Budget 2025 includes proposal to set Disparity Reduction Allowance at 20pc for eligible provincial employees from grade 1 to 16, aiming to address salary inequalities within the provincial workforce.
In terms of welfare initiatives, Bugti led government allocated Rs1 billion for the Balochistan Pension Fund, ensuring financial sustainability for future pension obligations. Furthermore, a substantial amount of Rs. 4.5 billion has been earmarked for the Balochistan Health Card program, which aims to provide accessible healthcare to the province’s citizens.
These budgetary measures reflect the provincial government’s commitment to improving the livelihoods of its employees and enhancing public health services across Balochistan.
