ISLAMABAD – The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has introduced an initiative offering educational stipends to children of registered beneficiaries.
The initiative aims to promote school attendance and reduce dropout rates by supporting families financially.
Eligibility Criteria for BISP Taleem Wazaif
Children must be registered in the BISP system through the Dynamic Registry process. The program applies to students in three categories:
Primary (Ages 4–12)
Secondary (Ages 8–18)
Higher Secondary (Ages 13–22)
BISP Stipend Amounts (Per Quarter)
Under the updated scheme, primary school students will receive a stipend of Rs2,500 per quarter for boys and Rs3,000 for girls.
For secondary school students, the amount has been set at Rs3,500 for boys and Rs4,000 for girls.
Meanwhile, higher secondary school students will now receive Rs 4,500 for boys and Rs 5,000 for girls.
Registration Process:
Beneficiaries must visit the nearest Benazir Income Support Tehsil Office with their child and the original B-form (issued by NADRA).
The child’s school must be officially recognized and registered. Once verified, the stipend will be issued regularly, subject to at least 70% school attendance.
