ISLAMABAD – The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has launched a detailed awareness campaign to guide citizens on the procedure for registration in its dynamic survey.
This initiative aims to include deserving families in the government’s social protection network. With this registration, the eligible citizens will be able to apply for the Benazir Kafalat and other financial aid programmes.
Benazir Kafaalat is the core programme of BISP and it was initiated in the year 2008. Under the initiative, Rs13,500 amount is paid to the deserving families each on quarterly basis.
For this, you need to get registered with the BISP dynamic survey.
According to BISP, eligible families must visit their nearest BISP registration center to participate in the survey. The dynamic survey is designed to gather updated socio-economic data to ensure only the most deserving families receive financial aid.
Registration Procedure
1. Visit your nearest BISP Tehsil Registration Center.
2. Get your token from the registration desk.
3. Wait for your turn and proceed when called.
4. Undergo an interview conducted by a trained staff member.
5. Answer questions based on your family’s current circumstances.
6. A receipt will be provided after completing the survey.
8171 Message Update
After completing the survey, you will receive a confirmation message from 8171.
BISP will notify you via 8171 regarding your eligibility status.
BISP has advised citizens to bring their original Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) and the B-form of their children during registration. Furthermore, families are urged to use their own mobile numbers during the registration process to ensure timely communication and avoid delays.
Citizens are reminded that registration is free of cost, and any attempt to charge fees is illegal.
It is important to carry an updated electricity bill and personal mobile number at the time of registration.
