SSP Traffic Warden Abbottabad Qamar Hayat Khan has said that Bypass from Abbottabad university of science & Technology to Abbottabad public school is immediate need to control traffic in the city beside Construction of Underpasses for Pedestrians Crossing and dedicated u-turns at different point.
SSP Traffic asked the National Highway Authority, Tehsil Muncipal Administration and Cantonment Board to remove the blockage from drainage channels from both sides of main KKH roads from Supply Bazar up to Ayub Medical Complex on weekly basis.
Briefing to Citizens Traffic Committee (CTC) at his office here on Thursday , SSP Traffic Abbottabad told that There is high influx of Suzuki and Carry Bolans plying in the city for commercial activities causing huge jamming of Traffic and Trouble Areas include Salhad ,General Bus Stand Gami Adda , Kareem Pura , Radio Station, Ayub Medical Complex and Qalanderabad Bazar.
He informed that Pedestrian crossing points creating traffic congestions at six different points which include Kashmir/Fawara Chowk, Gami Adda/Sarban Chowk, CMH, Main Supply Bazar, Missile Chowk ,Shafiq Plaza/Awan and Ayub Teaching Hospital where over head or under crossing needed.
