In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police on Monday recovered the dead body of a septuagenarian man from the river Jhelum in Srinagar.
The body was retrieved between Budshah Bridge and Amirakadal. The deceased person has been identified as 70-year-old Ghulam Muhammad Butt, a resident of Rambagh, who had gone missing on December 26, last month.
After the medico-legal formalities, police handed over the body to the family. Police in this regard have registered a case under relevant sections of law.—KMS
