ISLAMABAD – Axact CEO and Bol TV owner Shoaib Sheikh has been arrested from the country’s federal capital Islamabad.
Initial reports suggest that the noted businessman and media mogul was detained by Federal Investigation Agency for allegedly bribing a judge. A case was registered in Islamabad on the complaint of a senior FIA official against the Axact chief.
For the unversed, a local court sentenced Mr. Sheikh to 20 years in prison however, the Islamabad High Court suspended his sentence.
