ISLAMABAD – As regional tensions continue, Pakistan government has proposed new special relief allowance for officers and Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) of armed forces in Budget 2025-26.
The initiative aims to recognize unwavering commitment to defending borderland and maintaining national security. The allowance is noble gesture for the exemplary performance of military personnel, especially amidst growing security challenges.
Sharif led government also emphasized sacrifices and tireless efforts of armed forces are vital to ensuring stability and peace within the country.
Funding for relief allowance will be sourced from defense budget allocated for fiscal year 2025-26. Officials said beyond providing monetary recognition, the move is also intended to uplift morale of troops during period marked by heightened security concerns.
