Following a letter directives have issued to Makli police to lodge cases against local people who are burning their relatives in old graveyard coming in limits of world heritage site here on the other day.
It light with a previously issued letter seeking implementation, A new letter no 1(14 ) 2018 SOJVB has issued by secretary tourism, culture ,archaeology and antiquities directing local necropolis officials and police to take action against violators who are burying their deads in protected area to world heritage site Makli necropolis.
It also has been revealed that under CRPC the administration has been directed to the Makli SHO to lodge FIR in light of the letter under section (C )(1)145 and under section 188 PPC.
On other hand it has also been learned that implementing have made as after secretary tourism, culture ,archaeology and antiquities, string committee had held a meeting with DC Thatta in which was decided not to allow burying new dead bodies in the protected area and register cases against violators of this order. Meanwhile Makli police have registered case against Shuban Shah,Rasheed, Rahmtullah in sequel of violating the order.
On other hand local people of Thatta inclung Ramzan Samo,Javed Samo,Peer Mansoor Shah ,ShabirbSamo and others have expressed their agnar over this decision and have termed it as depriving people of their graveyards.
