Islamabad Capital Police is taking proactive measures to bolster security during the visit of a foreign delegation to the capital city, utilizing cutting-edge technological resources for enhanced surveillance and monitoring. Through the use of Safe City smart cars, drones, and cameras, the police force aims to ensure a safe environment for the esteemed guests, a police public relations officer said.
He said that, in accordance with the directives of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO), Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police is employing advanced technical resources to fortify security in the high-security zone during the foreign delegation’s visit to Islamabad. Additional police forces have been deployed around the delegation’s residence, maintaining constant readiness to address any potential law and order challenges. While verification of the hotel staff has been completed along with deployment of reserve police personnel around the hotel. The security of the foreign delegation will be further reinforced by the presence of the Anti-Terrorism Unit personnel, equipped with modern equipment will accompany the convoy.
