Police have registered a case against lawyer SherAfzal Khan Marwat on charges of assaulting PML-N Senator Afnanullah Khan in a TV programme.
Marwat and Afnan engaged in a brawl after a heated argument on a TV programme and the video went viral on social media. Marwat hit the PML-N senator who pushed him back. The anchor tried to pacify the two guests but in vain. The Aabpara police registered a case against Marwat who is PTI chief’s lawyer. Meanwhile, Marwat claimed that he would apply for pre-arrest bail in court and that he had requested police to register an FIR against thesenator at the Margalla police station under Sections 25D of the Telegraph Act and PPC 506.
