The condition to bring CNIC for buying the subsidized items at Utility stores was withdrawn on Tuesday.
The decision to withdraw this condition was made to facilitate the citizens and make it convenient for them to avail of the government-subsidized package.
However, this decision does not apply to buying flour, sugar, and ghee from utility stores.
Earlier, the government launched a Ramazan Relief Package worth Rs 5 billion at utility stores across the country to provide maximum relief to the poor segment of society during the holy month.
