Assistant director consumer rights protection Abbottabad has been carrying out activities uninterruptedly against traders and shopkeepers involved in overcharging and not following the government notified price lists. According to detail team headed by Ibrahim Khan visited every hook & corner of the city to check the prices. Ibrahim Khan told the media that they have been involved in continuous campaign against Price hike during the holy month of Ramadan on the direction of Director General Industries and Commerce, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,
He told that they have been trying hard to provide relief to consumers by regular checking the markets of edibles and other items. He told that they have recovered Expired items from various establishments & malls and took legal course of action. It was informed that they have imposed fine on different hotels & restaurants for their unhygienic conditions. Consumers appreciated the great deal of consumer rights protection department to emphasize to provide maximum relief.
