A resolution was passed in District Bar Association Attock expressing concerns regarding Faez Isa judgment demanded an impartial forum for accountability of higher Judiciary and Journalists.
The Bar has further reiterated that judges and journalists should not be considered above the law and process of their accountability should be free of any influence.
They demanded that there should be and impartial forum beside Supreme Judicial Council where all judges and journalist should be held accountable. The judges and journalist should not be sacred cows in country.
If the judges are not held accountable by any impartial forum, it will destroy whole judicial system which will create serious threat for integrity of nation.
Therefore we again demands for establishing an independent and impartial forum for accountability of judges.—PR
