City Mayor Mardan Himayatullah Mayar has said that democracy and free media are inseparable. Journalists can identify public problems through their pen and pave the way for its solution. He was addressing the swearing-in ceremony of Mardan Press Club Office Barriers as the chief guest.
Former Chairman of Public Safety Commission Abdul Aziz Khan and Deputy Director Information Shamsul Haq also participated in the event. Senior journalists Musarrat Khan Aasi, Lutfullah Lutf, Riaz Khan Mayar, Ashraf Khan, M Bashir Adil, Vice President Hidayatur Rehman Hoti, General Secretary Shahab Akbar and others also spoke on this occasion.
