DFO South Waziristan on Tuesday took notice of news circulating on media regarding deforestation in Shakai area of Lower South Waziristan district
He issued orders to take strict action against those involved and the staff was immediately dispatched to the affected area along with the police. People were found engaged in cutting forests, and the accused were arrested by the police on the spot.
