LAHORE – Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry visited Jinnah University for Women in Karachi, where he highlighted the strategic contributions of students in the National Defence.
Pak Army spokesperson was warmly received by the university administration and students in a spirited welcome. During his address, Lt General Ahmed Sharif provided a detailed briefing on Operation Bunyan Marsoos, explaining Pakistan Army’s strategic planning and sacrifices in defending the nation against hostile threats.
ISPR chief said the operation was a turning point in dismantling India’s long-held strategic assumptions. Pakistani nation, especially its youth—students and young professionals—played a vital role in the success of this Operation, he said.

“Together, we crushed the enemy’s malicious ambitions and rendered their strategic myths irrelevant.” He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering stance on Kashmir, calling it the country’s “jugular vein,” and praised the unity and cultural bonds between the people of Balochistan and the rest of Pakistan. “A handful of terrorists cannot break the strong religious, cultural, and traditional ties that bind Balochistan with Pakistan,” he added.
Students of Jinnah University expressed pride in armed forces, chanting slogans of support and patriotism. They praised military for its role in safeguarding national sovereignty and called for more interactive sessions with the armed forces to inspire future generations.
University officials echoed these sentiments, thanking DG ISPR for visit and expressing their desire for continued engagement with the Pakistan Army to promote national awareness and unity.
The event concluded with students declaring their unwavering support for the armed forces, stating, “The people and the Army are one—and this bond will remain unbreakable.”
