Pakistan Muslim League-Q had decided in July to remove party President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and General Secretary Tariq Bashir Cheema and hold a fresh election for the top posts within 10 days.
However, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain filed an application with the ECP stating that the intra-party elections are scheduled for August 10 without the permission of the party president and secretary general.
