LAHORE – Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad has indicated the possibility of Ramadan’s moon sighting on the 29th based on scientific grounds.

The Eidul Fitr can fall on April 10 (Wednesday) in Pakistan, he said, adding that the age of the moon would be 20 hours and its angle would be 10 degree on 29th of Ramadan.

According to the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee chief, there is possibility of 29 days Ramadan this year 2024.

Can there be 29 days of Ramadan?

Maulana Abdul Khabi Azad said there could be 29 days of Ramada as per scientific data. However, final decision will be taken by the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
