Emergency Services Department Secretary Dr Rizwan Naseer reviewed the operational performance of all districts in a meeting on Thursday, with all officers concerned in attendance.
The provincial monitoring officer informed the meeting that Rescue-1122 rescued 172,176 people while responding to 176,401 emergencies across the province in April 2024. He said that 113,827 emergencies were related to medical, 41,371 were road traffic accidents.
