Pakistani government on Tuesday announced revised fuel prices, with new rates for petrol standing at Rs272.15 coming into effect from today.
According to a statement from the Finance Division, the adjustments were made based on recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), taking into account global oil price trends and domestic fiscal factors.

High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has increased by Rs11.37, now priced at Rs284.35 per litre, up from Rs272.98.

Petrol (MS) has risen by Rs5.36, reaching Rs272.15 per litre, compared to the previous Rs266.79.
These changes are part of the government’s fortnightly fuel price review and are expected to affect transportation costs and inflation. Officials reiterated that pricing remains aligned with international market dynamics and a transparent policy framework.
