Thousands of Benazir Income Support Programme BISP and Ehsaas beneficiaries are being tricked by Fraud sites, tricking people with portals like Ehsaas Payment Update and 8171 CNIC check Online.
These portals are not revealing any authentic information but are stealing people’s sensitive information and spreading spam links, claiming about eligibility for financial aid. These 8171 FAKE portals are not authorized by any agency or financial institution and they managed to trick people with poor literacy, using Bold Thumbnails.
8171 Scam Sites
As government and FIA remained silent on these issues, several fake portals such like www.bispehsaaspa and cmp-punjab.com.pk and 8171ehsaasprogramme.com.pk are taking people’s personal information.
As you click any of their article, they will ask your CNIC numbers, names, phone numbers, and even financial details. After getting all information, they come up with sham PMT (Proxy Means Test) scores.
These fake 8171 portals are using original like portal, language, and style of real government websites to appear credible, but all they do is to cheat people.
Where to get 8171 Information online
BISP officials made it clear that there is no online portal for checking BISP eligibility or PMT scores. The only valid method is to send your CNIC number via SMS to 8171.
Pakistani are getting scammed as these sites used SEO tools and tricks to appear on top Google pages while they also use social portals to target people.
If you come across any portal asking for your personal information, please report to PTA or FIA Cybercrime Wing as fake portal, disguising as Govt sites, are menace that openly steal data.
