QUETTA – At least four FC troops were martyred and three injured in a blast in Marget area of Quetta on Friday.
Reports said the explosion took place near a vehicle of the bomb disposal squad of the security forces, adding that the explosive material was planted on the road.
Following the blast, security forces cordoned off the area. Rescue officials have transported the bodies and injured to hospital.
The martyred security officials included Subedar Abbas, Subedar Shahzad Ameen, Sepoy Zahid and Sepoy Khalil.
The injured security officials have been identified as Lance Naik Zafar, Lance Naik Farooq and Sepoy Khurram.
Officials said an operation has been launched in the area to nab the suspects involved in the terrorist attack.
