KARACHI – Gold opened last week on low note in Pakistan as yellow metal moded down by Rs2,600 Per Tola on Monday.
Data shared by Saraffa Association shows Gold prices per tola fell by Rs2,600 to close at Rs351,500. The rate for 10 grams of gold also declined by Rs2,228, reaching Rs301,354.

On the global front, gold prices experienced a decrease as well, with rates falling by $26 to $3,331 per ounce, plus a premium of $20, APGJSA reported.
In contrast, silver prices in the local market remained stable, with the rate per tola holding firm at Rs3,508.
Market analysts suggest that the fluctuations in gold prices are closely tied to international trends and currency movements, which continue to influence local trading.
