Gold prices in Pakistan touched an all-time high on Friday, jumping by Rs3500 to Rs272,000 per tola amid a big surge in increase.
The data shared by Sarafa association shows that Bullion rates moved up, continuing a remarkable upward trend, surpassing the Rs272,000 per tola mark.
The price of 24-carat gold saw an increase of Rs3,500, bringing it to Rs272,000 per tola while the cost for 10 grams inched up to Rs233,196.

The hike marks third record set within the third week of September. The recent changes in gold prices reflected a volatile market, as prices hit new highs amid changing economic conditions.
In international market, bullion reached record high of $2,600 today while spot gold rose by 0.7 percent to $2,604.50 per ounce, while US gold futures increased by 0.6 percent to $2,630.00.
