KARACHI – Gold prices moved up in Pakistan on global cues as local markets respond to rapid buying in the international market.
Data shared by Saraffa Association shows per tola gold rose by Rs1,500 per tola to hit Rs354,500 while rate for 10 grams of gold also saw a rise of Rs1,286, settling at Rs303,926.

Gold Rates This Week
Over past week, the price of 24K gold hovered at Rs353,000 per tola, and it went up to Rs356,800 in early July. The lowest gold rate in the past week was recorded on June 28, at Rs349,400 per tola. Silver prices, on the other hand, remained comparatively steady.

This recovery comes after a sharp decline on Monday, when the price per tola dropped by Rs2,500 to Rs353,000.
In the global market, gold experienced a gain of $15, taking the international rate to $3,325 per ounce, which includes a $20 premium, as reported by the APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged in the local market, with one tola holding steady at Rs3,841.
Jewellers expect further fluctuations in the coming days, as both local and global economic indicators continue to influence precious metal trends.
