KARACHI – Gold started week with fresh losses in local and international markets as price per tola declined by Rs2,500 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs353,000 in the local bullion market.
As per latest rates, price of 10 grams of gold also dropped by Rs2,143, settling at Rs302,640.

Last week, gold prices in Pakistan started at Rs356,000 and later dipped slightly over the next few days, reaching a low of Rs349,400 on June 28. Yellow metal rebounded quickly, climbing to Rs350,200 on June 30 and continuing to rise in early July. By July 1, the price was Rs356,800, followed by Rs356,200 on July 2, and finally peaked at Rs357,000 on July 3.
Internationally, gold prices recorded a decline of $25 per ounce, with the rate standing at $3,310 (including a $20 premium), as reported by APGJSA.
