Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, lauded the family of the martyred pilot Rashid Minhas, emphasizing their role in upholding the nation’s dignity. During his visit to the home of Pilot Rashid Minhas, Tessori expressed deep respect for the family, declaring them symbols of national honor. Speaking to the media, Governor Tessori honored the bravery of Pilot Rashid Minhas, who was posthumously awarded the Nishan-e-Haider for his valiant defense against enemy forces.
“The family of a martyr is a source of national pride,” he stated. “Pilot Rashid Minhas is a proud son of this nation, and his sacrifice continues to inspire future generations.” The Governor’s visit was marked by a heartfelt exchange with Minhas’s family, who noted that he was the first governor to visit their home. Tessori conveyed his admiration for Minhas’s sacrifice and praised his family for raising such a courageous individual. “In memory of the martyrs of the Pakistan Air Force, today we honor the valor and sacrifices made,” Tessori said.
He praised the PAF for nurturing young men ready to defend the nation’s skies with unwavering courage. Governor expressed confidence in the efforts of the Prime Minister and Army Chief to address the country’s economic challenges. He highlighted the significance of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) initiative, which he believes will soon stabilize Pakistan’s economy. Governor Tessori also visited Pilot Rashid Minhas’s grave, laying flowers and offering prayers in homage to the fallen hero.
